Article series at National Geographic

National Geographic has a little series of energy related articles and thought I’d share two:

I guess I never really though about where recycled motor oil goes, but apparently most of it is just burned, but some folks are trying to change that:

And although developing rural economies in Indonesia with a type of sugar palm instead of oil palm, it would seem like we could come up with a better product from the rainforests that this labor intensive resource that would probably be exported rather than used by Indonesia (maybe I just think ethanol is bad idea in general)
